Standard Training Courses

Task Knowledge offers cost effective training courses for all CaseWare Working Papers users. These standard courses are held throughout the year and are open to any participant.

CaseWare Essentials

Designed for the professional accounting and audit practice, this is the “must do” course for users of CaseWare Working Papers. With a hands-on, easy to follow workshop style, this course is designed to get your staff efficiently using CaseWare to produce financial statements and/or an audit engagement file.

Participants are taken through the entire engagement cycle from creating a new file to performing a year-end close.

The course includes three parts:

• CaseWare Working Papers Fundamentals;
• The Financial Reporting template; and
• The Task Audit template.

All participants who complete this intensive two day workshop are ready to hit the ground running. With practical case studies and a fully illustrated training book, the “CaseWare Essentials” workshop lives up to its name.

Annual Update - Two Hour Session

Keep up to date with the latest in financial reporting and auditing through our “Annual Update” course. Because nothing ever stays the same, our Annual Update aims to help you retain your knowledge previously gained. Updates are available for both Financial Reporting and Audit templates, and all updates include the latest software enhancements within CaseWare Working Papers.

Reviewer - Half Day Workshop

For the CaseWare user who isn’t as “hands on” as they used to be, this 1/2 day course takes the “reviewer” through the tips, tricks and latest review features of CaseWare Working Papers and shows them how to make the most of their limited, but precious, time on an engagement file. Designed by “real users” from existing Task customers, this course is a must for the Manager/Partner who wants to make the most of CaseWare Working Papers.

Standard training courses can also be delivered, exclusively for your firm, either face-to-face or online, depending upon the circumstances and the number of participants.
